summer reading program

SUMMER READING SCHEDULE

June 3 rd , 3-4pm: Make your own paper out of recycled books and flower seeds. Learn of the plant origins of paper. We will also make stickers.

June 10 th , 3-4pm: Make your own armor by joining us for Tie-Dye, bring your own clothes (t-shirt, hat, or socks). Learn about real plant-based dyes and how they are similar to in game. Also join us for beautifying the library by helping us plant flowers in the front of the building.

June 17 th 3-4pm: Decorate your home the Minecraft way with your own painted flower pot and seed painting.

June 24 th 3-4pm: Follow a treasure map and find some “gold” at the library. Kids will do a scavenger hunt in the library to learn how to find books on their own. Therapy dogs will also be joining us.

Bookshare meets every last Wednesday of the month, excluding December. Time is subject to change.
